The Dancer
The National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. approached us for the Exhibition Paris 1874: The Impressionist Moment and presented us with an exciting challenge:
to design a collection of products that would reflect the beauty and essence of two iconic paintings from their collection, including Auguste Renoir’s “The Dancer”.
Drawing inspiration from Renoir’s painting, our design team crafted a range of custom products—from a knitted doll to keychains and accessories—all reflecting the delicate details of The Dancer.
In close collaboration with the National Gallery, we refined the designs through rounds of feedback, ensuring the products captured the essence of the painting and next to that, were museum-shop ready.
Once the designs were finalized, they were sent to our suppliers, who produced samples for us to review and perfect. Working together with the National Gallery, we fine-tuned every detail to create the final product.
The result? A selection of beautifully designed products that now grace the shelves of the National Gallery of Art’s museum shop.
